Sebastian Jagsch studied Automotive Engineering in Graz, Austria. Following initial positions at two of the largest automotive service providers Magna Steyr and AVL, Sebastian founded the engineering service provider qpunkt with six former colleagues. Today, the company employs more than 100 people. Alongside building up the company, he completed the master program “Master of Light and Lighting” at the Lichtakademie Bartenbach in Austria.

In 2014, Sebastian founded eluminocity. The company headquartered in Munich, Germany, works together with the BMW Group on developing a product system for urban infrastructure. eluminocity offers LED based light fixtures with integrated EV charging stations for eMobility solutions to be deployed street-wide in neighborhoods and cities of all sizes. Furthermore, the system provides a network platform for sensor-based applications such as real-time parking space monitoring or intelligent control of street lighting. The so-called “Light & Charge” system is key for an urban and extensive realization of e-mobility. “Light & Charge” is already implemented in cities such as Chicago, Eindhoven, Starnberg and now also in Munich.

Since 2016 Sebastian is building up the Startup Initiative of the AVL List Group in Austria, one of the worldwide leading service providers for the automotive industry.
