Sylvia is presently the Chief Strategy Officer at PROJECT CLIMATE in Munich, a start-up with focus on eco-friendly mobility.
Prior entering the mobility market, Sylvia worked for five years as Strategy & Business Development Manager at EnBW AG developing national and international renewable energy strategies. Furthermore she worked as an independent strategy consultant for mid-sized world market leaders.
Sylvia holds a degree in European Business from ESCP Europe as well as a degree in International Marketing and has completed a programme in Entrepreneurial Leadership at ESCP.
Sylvia’s strong interest in the start-up industry led her to coach and develop innovative start-up concepts. She will support you with her industry knowledge in future mobility and energy as well as business modeling, finance, marketing and idea generation.

Providing mobility from point A to B in a sustainable, time-saving and cost-efficient way.
- What motivates you to coach teams on Startup Weekend – Die Alm?
I participated in a past startup weekend and I loved the energy and the creativity of the event. It is amazing to see what you can accomplish in just 54 hours.
Future mobility is a fascinating subject with great potential for innovation. I am happy to help the teams to turn their ideas into a successful business model.
- What business model is great example for ‚Future Mobility‘?
I like the concept of on demand mobility (e.g. car or bike sharing) and connected car services.
- Which area of mobility needs to be disrupted?
The battery capacity for electric vehicles and also the e-mobility market in general.
There is a need for integrating sustainability in the whole product life cycle of electric vehicles – starting from sourcing sustainable materials for production up to charging the systems with renewable energy.
The EU transport sector still has the second biggest green house gas emissions and there is an urgent need for change.
- Where do you integrate mobility into your daily life?
Everywhere – to get from A to B. I love using on demand services like car and bike sharing. Further I use public transportation and my car when needed.
